Getting The Game
Game Support
Luanti (formerly Minetest) is not a game itself but a game platform so we actually play a few different ones all based on it. When you join our server the active game will be downloaded automatically.
VoxeLibre
A sandbox game inspired by Minecraft but with a lot of its own additions. We try to keep a permanent world so your progress is kept for future events.
Blockbomber
A first-person bomberman-like game. Upon connecting you'll be placed in the lobby until the current match ends. Just wait for a bit.
Tips
- Bombs are dropped with the Sneak key (Left Shift by default)
- The Spring powerup allows you to throw a bomb you're standing in with the Jump key (Space by default)
- The Fist powerup allows you to punch a bomb forwards with the Punch key (Left Mouse by default)
Capture the Flag
Capture the enemies' flag while defending your own. You probably know the drill.
Connecting
In the Join Game tab fill in the server address with play.onfoss.org and keep the port at 30000. Type in your Username and click Register. In the following dialog you can set your password. For VoxeLibre you'll want to set a password as the world may be kept around and shared between hosts for future events, but please don't reuse any important passwords. For Blockbomber and Capture the Flag it doesn't really matter. Once you set your password you can type it in and click Login to join.
